Epsom Derby drunken thugs clash with RIOT POLICE as mass brawl leaves two racegoers ‘stabbed’ and 11 arrested
Hundreds of bottles started ‘flying around’ and innocent families and children became caught up in the horrific brawls
Drunken thugs clashed with RIOT POLICE at the famous Epsom Derby after a mass brawl broke out, leaving two racegoers ‘stabbed’ and 11 arrested.
Terrified innocent families with young children cowered and were forced to dodge hundreds of flying bottles as violence erupted at the end of the prestigious event, which was attended by 100,000 people including the Queen.
Dramatic footage taken on a mobile phone shows racegoers ducking to avoid the missiles as groups of young men are seen lashing out at shield-wielding officers.
One shocked eyewitness described how he saw two people being treated by medics for ‘stab wounds’, while others hurled empty bottles off an open top bus.
The young man told the Mirror Online: “The music went off and then police started arresting people for stuff. It was proper scary, so many bottles flying.
“I went to the first aid section to look for my mate and two people were being treated for stab wounds.
